Aerial Fitness is a unique new practice for all-over-body conditioning that combines yoga, Pilates, gymnastics, dance, and circus arts to create a FUN yet unique form of fitness or artform. Working with a suspended hammock allows you to stretch deeper and hold challenging poses longer while decompressing the spine to relieve tightness and tension in the body. You also will build strength, stamina, a lean beautifully toned body, and strengthen the entire core. The hammock provides a unique setup making the practice versatile and accessible to all ages and fitness levels – there is a class here for everyone, every level, and every goal. Start with our “Introductory to Aerial Hammock” class (Beginner Level) where you’ll experience gentle stretching of the body and decompression of the spine through inversions while learning foundational poses, basic terminology, how to properly get in and out of the hammock, and to get over the initial apprehension that some beginners may have. All new students must start in the “Introduction to Aerial Hammock”, “Introduction to Lyra”, or “Introduction to Bungee” class.
We promise you will leave confident and feeling accomplished from your very first class! Once you become familiar with the basics, choose your own journey! We offer classes that will challenge your body and help build muscle as well as classes that will relax and restore your body and help improve mobility. Learn more about our different classes. We offer a variety of in-studio and outdoor classes (weather permitting) in two different locations. All classes require pre-registration. Please review our policies and COVID-19 protocol prior to your first class.
