AntiGravity® FUNdamentals 1 and 2

Anti-Gravity is a “Suspension Fitness” technique designed to increase one’s overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating beauty. Fundamentals is the “Decompression Phase” that includes zero-compression inversions, to align the body from head to toe while gently stretching and strengthening one’s muscles. With the use of the fabric hammock it acts like a soft trapeze, supporting you as you master simple suspension techniques leading to more advanced poses in Aerial Yoga. This technique is uniquely developed for beginners through all levels of experience. No prior experience in gymnastics, dance, Yoga or Pilates is required. It is strongly recommended to take at least 3-4 sessions in FUNdamentals before advancing to Aerial Yoga. Get ready to fly, have fun and just feel free!

Anti-Gravity Fitness offers a complete workout that is certain to get you in shape while realigning you from head to toe. While using techniques from gymnastics, aerial acrobatics, dance, Pilates, calisthenics, and Yoga it offers a low impact cardiovascular workout that simultaneously decompresses and strengthens the musculoskeletal system. No Previous aerial, acrobatics, Yoga, or Dance experience is needed.

AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga
Explore the evolution of Yoga into 3 dimensional space. This mind/body/spirit class provides a challenging Aerial Yoga technique using the Christopher Harrison Hammocks. This class is for all student levels provided they have attended at least 3-4 Fundamentals 1 & 2 classes prior.
Using the hammocks you are suspended in the air while blending yoga practices with the athletic principles of Aerial Yoga. Suspension from the hammock is therapeutic, relieves compression and elongates the spine and is fun. Lifting ones own body weight strengthens and develops integrated muscle coordination.
In Order to Fly you must first be willing to Let Go.
Cardio Dance Prep Class
If you’re curious about Cardio Dance, but not sure what to expect, this helpful intro class is for you. The Cardio Dance Prep Class breaks down common dance moves used in a variety of routines with simple, easy-to-follow instruction. Through repetition and encouragement, you’ll gain an understanding of different dance styles and rhythms, learn how to execute specific moves, and develop confidence so you can have fun in preparation for the Cardio Dance workout!
Shoes are required for this class.
Cardio Dance is an energetic, dance fitness workout that will get you moving though a variety of music and dance styles including Latin, Jazz, Ballroom and Hip Hop. Routines are designed to improve coordination and rhythm, while providing a total body workout that strengthens, sculpts and tones. You’ll be exposed to an array of dance movements that inspire and empower, from sexy hip swivels and body rolls, to fancy footwork and aerobic steps. Regular attendance helps enforce muscle memory, overall capability and development of personal style. While prior dance experience is helpful, it’s not necessary – the main goal is to keep moving and have fun!
