OUR POLICY
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS AT FIGHTING GRAVITY FITNESS
Register Early. Some classes have limited availability. Pre-registration is required.
Late Cancel & No Show Policy
To avoid a cancellation fee, classes must be canceled at least 2 hours prior to the class or by 10 pm the night before all first morning classes.
If you reserved a spot and fail to show or cancel in that time frame, there will be a $10.00 no show charge. If this particular class has a person on the waitlist and you fail to show or cancel in time to give the spot to another student, there will be a full charge of a current drop-in fee. No Exceptions.
If you happen to be the only person signed up for class, the class will be canceled.
Large groups that sign in together and take up a full class will need to cancel 24 hours in advance or lose the drop-in payment since we cannot fill the entire class in such short notice. (It is strongly recommended and more courteous to others, that you schedule a private party instead of taking up all the regular class time spots.)
**Cancellations can be made online by going to Mindbody or by calling 804-355-3700.**
Late Arrival Policy. If it is your first time at FGF, it is important that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the class starts in order to fill out your New Client form and allow time to be measured in your hammock if taking an Aerial hammock class or 15 minutes before taking a Bungee fitness class to get assistance putting on your harness and picking out your correct bungee. If you are not in class at the time for us to begin, you may lose your spot to someone else who has dropped in to sign up for a class. However, if you arrive late to an Aerial Hammock class, we ask that you come in quietly so to not to disturb others and wait until the instructor tells you to join in the class.
If you arrive late for Bungee class, because of the nature of the class, you will not be allowed in class. No refunds for late arrivals.
Dress Policy. Choose active-wear designed for movement and comfort. For Aerial classes, in particular, wear a shirt with a sleeve that covers the armpits to prevent any discomfort under the arms and help keep the hammocks sanitary. For Lyra, it is recommended to wear long leggings that cover the backs of the knees and shirts with long sleeves. No tank tops in Aerial classes, please! If you arrive wearing a tank top, you will be asked to put on another shirt. Because you will be doing a straddle in the hammocks, it is not recommended to wear short shorts.
No Jewelry. Help us to preserve our Aerial Hammocks. Please remove all jewelry, watches, hair clips or anything that will snag the cloth hammocks. No clothing with zippers is allowed.
Low Attendance Cancelation: We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low attendance, inclement weather, or instructor illness. Please check the schedule to make sure your class has not been canceled before heading to the studio. If no one is registered for a class, the class will be canceled 30 minutes before class is to begin. If you plan to come, please make sure to register before that 30 minutes cut off time. We have implemented a 30 minute cut off registration time, to allow instructors time to get to the studio.
